48 HOUR ENDURANCE FLY FISHING MARATHON

Lake of Menteith, Port of Menteith, Stirling Scotland 29–31 July 2010. Robin Lambert from Scottish Water’s Fairmilehead Office in Edinburgh along with his brother John are going to undertake a 48 hour Endurance Fly Fishing Marathon to raise funds for charity. They will only stop for meal and toilet breaks throughout the marathon.

Anglian Water is proud to announce that it is hosting a Pairs Flyfishing Competition and Charity Auction at Europe’s premier trout fishery Rutland Water, on Saturday 14 August 2010 with all proceeds going to the ‘Help for Heroes’ Charity.
The competition will be a boat pairs (fish with own partner) match, fished to reservoir rules excluding ‘ruddering’, with a 16 fish limit per pair with the emphasis being to have a fun day out and to raise as much money as possible for the Charity. ...more
